"A rushed overnight stay for us on the way to Pozzallo ferry… convenient drive the next am to catch an early ferry. Chosen on the basis that we were arriving late and they had a manned late night reception. From our quick impression, gardens seemed charming and breakfast was nice. "Hotel Eremo is a former monastery. You are greeted immediately by name by the friendly staff. The property is serene, dining is available outside in a courtyard, at the pool, in your room. "The hotel is an experience, beautiful view. However when remember booking the room with two beds, the hotel at check in, the room I booked is the king size bed. Also a bottle of wine was checked with the room booking, we found out at check out that it is not. The money is not the issue, but it is confusing/embarrasing to find out that it is not complimentary, the reception was helpful, apply $10 spa fee that we did not use and we pay 2 Euro to settled our hotel bill."
