The Cliffhouse is a luxurious new 3000 sq. ft vacation home situated one mile from the charming colourful village of Doolin on the rugged west coast of Ireland. Tucked into the side of hill within the Doolin hinterland, 'The Cliffhouse' sits on an one and a half acre site that affords privacy, intimacy and convenient access to major attractions that Ireland has to offer. This delightful vacation retreat, which has breathtaking views of Galway Bay, Aran Islands and The Burren, will ensure that you will feel as if you are visiting you own dream home rather than a rental house.
Built in true Irish style with a limestone facade and a black slate roof, the house has 5 large bedrooms (4 of which are en-suite), kitchen,dining room,sun-room, utilityroom, living room, family room, powder room and a stone patio. Elegantly finished and furnished 'The Cliffhouse', with its spectacular views that neither words nor pictures can capture is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or golfing trip.

Incredible location, views, just stunning. Great option for larger groups and host was awesome at getting back to us. So close to Music House, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands. Staying at the Cliffhouse and the surrounding area gave a wonderful experience of true Ireland

Beautiful Location

This property has a beautiful view of the country side and has plenty of areas of seating both inside and out. The location is on a secluded road so you need a car and a brave driver. We hooked up with John's taxi and he is a great guy to get you around and back and forth at a reasonable rate so no need to drive if you don't want to!

Glorious views of Doolin and the Aran Islands

Our group loved our stay at this location! Waking up and ending the day to such glorious views of the landscape and ocean was the perfect vacation. Just a short distance to Doolin, the Aran Islands, and the Cliffs of Moher, as well as Galway and the Burren, we had more day trips planned than we had days to explore. The house also had a fantastic kitchen, which we were able to utilize on a couple nights when the weather was too rainy or foggy. Super comfortable house for our large group.

First class both the house and the view.

The Cliffhouse looked pretty basic from it's picture, but once we entered we found it to be first class, state of the art in appliances, rooms,and view. There were eleven of us and we found that there was plenty of room for sleeping and lounge rooms to spread out. The view of the ocean was excellent. We highly recommend this house.

Multi-generational family trip

The property was spectacular for our family, which ranged in age from 2 to 62. Very large house for the area and large, comfortable rooms with plenty of space to spread out.

The house is beautifully situated near Doolin. Because it's a bit higher up, you can enjoy views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Doolin is a quick and easy drive from the house, and Galway and Limerick are also not far away. The house was very spacious and, with its many bedrooms and bathrooms, perfect for our group. We stayed there with six adults and three children.One negative aspect was the cleanliness. It was fine inside, but upon closer inspection, some uncleanliness was visible. The outside area was worse, however. The windows were very dirty on the outside and hadn't been cleaned in a while. The walls were covered in cobwebs. The ground outside was completely overgrown with weeds. The garbage can was almost full, so we had to put the garbage bags next to it. That would naturally be a feast for the birds there. It all just looks very unkempt and is such a shame because the house itself is really beautiful.

Great house close to Doolin

Fantastic house with plenty of space for a group. Well furnished and clean bedrooms and bathrooms. 4 rooms have en suites which was brilliant to have some privacy while staying with a group. Would highly recommend.
