Top Dorchester Hotel Reviews
George Albert Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"The front of the hotel looks old could do with brightening up. But soon as you entre it's a different feeling it's lovely and clean. Very well presented the rooms are large and more than enough space for all your belongings. Well presented room. Room service each day and all things replaced including bottles of water and biscuits. Its the little things that count.parkjng right outside the main door. Good quiet location but easy to get to other towns by car."
The Red Lion
10/10 Excellent
"The fan in the room was very much appreciated. A mini-fridge with freezer would have been helpful for storing temperature-sensitive medications."
Sleeping Bear Hotel Dorchester
10/10 Excellent
"We arrived late at the Sleeping Bear Hotel and the self check-in was incredibly easy and smooth. We simply pressed the green button by the door and followed the instructions. Walking through the hallway, staircase and lovely sitting/living room area with my daughter, we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and cosy everything looked. There were lots of comfortable sofas with cushions, making it feel just like home, and we loved that we could make coffee from the machine whenever we wanted. Our room was very clean and cosy, and the mattress was unbelievably comfortable and soft. At check-out, the two lovely ladies at reception even found me a takeaway cup so I could take my coffee with me. A truly wonderful stay — I will definitely be coming back!"
Old Ship Inn
8/10 Good
"Compact rooms, located in yard behind the pub, a little noisy around closing time, all quiet after that, not a problem unless you are planning an early night. Shower clean, good flow and hot, biscuits with the tea and coffee, twin beds comfortable but we booked a double room, suggest ringing before arrival to confirm selection. Reasonably priced, would recommend if staying one or two nights."
The Frampton Arms

Yalbury Cottage
10/10 Excellent
"This is the second time I have stayed due to the convenient location for work. I’ve had the warmest arrival on both occasions. The room was lovely. The bed extremely comfy. And the little touches such as fresh milk and brownies are a bonus treat. Exceptional."
Greyhound Inn
10/10 Excellent
"A hidden treasure in the middle of a charming village. Check in was fuss-free and friendly, the room was gorgeous and the pub itself was fabulous. Traditional flagstone floor, wonderful outdoor seating area and to top it all, the food was of a high standard and freshly cooked. Would highly recommend."
