"The property was nice being so close to the ocean and with a pool. The home needs a lot of TLC. Definitely not kids friendly. The steps could be very dangerous for small children. They had nothing to protect someone from falling from an opening in the stairways. A good spring cleaning, fresh paint, new caulking, the floors need a good cleaning. The “house keeper” comes everyday and does very very lite pick up/ cleaning. We cleaned more than her. They need an area close to the pool to wash off after getting out of the ocean. I found a bucket and we used that to wash the sand off of us. The beach area is super shallow and a lot of seaweed on the floor of the ocean. Wasn’t the greatest for swimming or snorkeling. For the price of the property we paid 15,000 for 6 nights. Definitely overpriced for the beach and condition of the home. Expected a better kept home and beach area. We love Aruba but wouldn’t rent this place again. We’ve stayed in other places for cheaper."
