"The room was spacious, individually decorated and clean and tidy. Staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and it was delicious. Plenty of parking but only one disabled parking space that we could find. The manor is lovely with lots of original features. Fascinated to find it was built by Isanbard Kingdom Brunel. The location is beautiful with views of the golf course and the moors in the distance."

"Second time visiting this hotel after a gap of 5 years. I really wanted to give it 5 stars as it’s in a beautiful location and the main hotel is really very lovely. Particularly liked the drawing rooms downstairs for relaxing with a good book and the lovely gardens for afternoon tea and more. Steeped in history, I enjoyed reading about times gone by. Food was of a high standard across the board. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss with staff becoming overwhelmed quite quickly. However, having visited this hotel previously I was disappointed in the Spa. The facilities would benefit from a deep clean and some maintenance. As the spa is quite small and shared by hotel guests, day guests and members of the spa/gym membership, it can get very busy and crowded I found the towel on the hook situation a bit tedious, especially as a hotel paying guest. One day I went for a quick swim but left ntvggg bun"

"We had an excellent couple of nights stay at St Mellion in one of the cottages which are so well equipped. All of the staff were super helpful - especially Jo on reception who went above and beyond to sort a few things out for us - thank you. We will be back."

"Absolutely loved our apartment and our stay here! Loved all this! 5⭐️s Unfortunately, there was some heavy rain during our stay that caused a lot of leaks inside the main building and caused the outdoor cafe & kids area to close (unexpectedly, without warning)! Apparently this happens a lot when it rains heavily- we adjusted during our wonderful stay, so it didn’t impact us … but this does need to be addressed for anyone visiting with a young family - sorry! 5 ⭐️s from a 2 adult, no kids stay though … totally! 👍👏"

"Had a great stay, only stayed one night but on arrival we were greeted by the reception staff, they were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. The facilities at the hotel were amazing, we enjoyed making use of the pool, steam room and sauna. Plenty of parking and it was reasonable too at £7 per night. Location is great too, close to town centre, and the theatre. Would definitely stay here again."
