"This was a nostalgia trip for me, several decades after the last visit. Of course it has changed. Reception staff were great as they were busy when I arrived, explaining bar/dining options and the leisure spa. Our room was spacious and luxurious, the bathroom also roomy (although you couldn't reach the toilet roll holder from the toilet!) We used the swimming pool, the spa has great facilities. We had a meal at the Percy French pub in the grounds where the food was good and the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge choice. All in all it was the perfect overnight stop on a longer trip"

"Such a lovely experience with a warm welcome, an exceptionally comfortable bed and amazing breakfasts. Conveniently located for the motorway yet really quiet. We had the Courtyard room which had a double and a single bed. It’s was a good sized room with everything we needed. We had a slight issue with the shower temperature the first day that was quickly resolved. Everyone was very friendly and I’d highly recommend this excellent B&B. "
