Excellent hotel. Only problem was initially allocated room waa near the restaurant/bar area, and was very noisy till late at night. We requested a room change, and the hotel obliged the next day - so we were very satisfied with how they dealt with our complaint. As we had a late departure, we requested that we keep our room after checkout time. Again, the hotel sorted this for us - at a modest cost. So we were very happy with the hotel management. All inclusive buffets were excellent.

Beautiful property but unfortunately of the 2 rooms we reserved, one had leaks from the shower, flooding the room. After 3 attempts from maintenance to fix it, they offered another room. It was a handicap room and it lacked a normal shower. After additional complaints, they provided another room. The replacement room was not an upgraded pool view one like the one we paid for but the hotel claimed a comparable one was not available. It was only after I submitted a complaint to Expedia that the hotel suddenly found a comparable room. And since the hotel was concerned about a negative review with Expedia, that they offered a complimentary massage for the inconvenience of having to move rooms three times and having to spend 2 nights in a standard room. Also, I wouldn’t recommend this property for anyone who loves the beach and ocean. The ocean water was very dirty and murky and there were warnings about jelly fish, making the beach experience very poor. The beach was also infested with large bee nests near most trees making relaxation pretty challenging. Having travelled to the DR nearly 20 times but always having stayed in Punta Cana, the overall experience was below average at this hotel.

For the price I have no complaints with my stay. The staff were awesome. They helped us with every request we had. Graccie House was on a quiet street yet close to anything you could need. A 5 minute walk to the Malecon where we found some excellent restaurants. I would stay here again.
