"Overall, terrific. Lots of spaces to hang out with big or small groups. Very well-equipped kitchen and lots of dining room space. Stunning location. Minor issues: neither downstairs bathroom had towels. We found some bath towels by the hot tub, but no wash cloths or hand towels. Very little body wash in 1st floor bathroom (1/2” watered down). In the kitchen, very little tea or coffee provided. Ice maker didn’t work. Suggestion: It would have been nice to have an empty cabinet for food. It might be time to cull equipment to get rid of multiples ( no need for 8 pairs of kitchen shears or 10 loaf pans, eg). Also, it would be helpful for cabinets to be labeled with what’s inside and it would help things end up in the right place. Also, check out instructions should include what to do with sheets and towels. And a recycling bin would be helpful."

"We enjoyed the whole house and its setup! Beds comfortable, hot tub used every day (grandkids favorite), kitchen setup, clean, spacious! Just what we needed and more, huge dining table!"

"I can say without a doubt that the experience with this host was the most accommodating, pleasurable, quick to serve, quick to answer, and so nice we were absolutely overwhelmed. The house that we rented was also very accommodating. The beds were absolutely wonderful to sleep in, there was enough towels and washcloths, and other amenities that you need to when you're renting a house. The views from the porch are absolutely gorgeous, some of the surrounding property you could tell was still damaged from the storm of years ago, but that is not a drawback in any way. It was an absolutely excellent stay and I would do it over again the next time we visited Asheville. "

"A very nice property with incredible views both day and night.Challenging driveway, but we got the hang of it.The room my wife and i used had no closet, which was inconvenient. We were a bit concerned about the deck in the front. As people came up the stairs the deck would sway. You may want to have that examined.Bottom line - we loved it and would return."
