"Lovely hotel "

"Our third year at The Pilot Station and once again, it was a wonderful holiday.With the best views for sunrise and sunsets (particularly the sunset), The Pilot Station is a great place to set up base and explore the stunning area; we had a truly relaxing and enjoyable two weeks. The scenery is spectacular and the people are very friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for brunches, lunches and evening meals, (in no particular order, but would recommend all of them); Strandfield, Carlingford Brewery, Fitzpatricks, Kingfisher Bistro, Cathedral, Jocelyn's, Square, The Clermont, The Brake, Yellow Heifer. Our host, Ciara, is excellent, always helpful and responds very quickly if you have a query.We are very much looking forward to our next visit."

"The breakfast had homemade breads, jam and the pears were so good that I asked for the recipe and the chef gave it to me. Loved how historical the B&B was A little hard to find the entrance but that might be GPS fault"

"The property was lovely and unique, dating back to the 1700s, and totally renovated by the owners. The decor was exquisite and carefully planned to reflect the time period. The owner was congenial, helpful and informative. We were offered tea and cake upon arrival and an amazing breakfast in the morning!"
