"Great big room with very large comfortable bed. Everything needed in room for overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. Walks around grounds and short drive into town centre. Spa was good but a few things not working properly. Food in restaurant was excellent. Would return in summer months. "

"Room was large but definitely needed a facelift/upgrade (and that was considering we had already received an upgrade from the hotel!). In addition, the hotel only opened the day we arrived after renovations (not flagged in advance by either Hotels,Com or the hotel itself !!!) so limited dining and bar options were available so a bit disappointing."

We enjoyed walks on the quiet surroundings, It was a true taste of authentic Irish rural life.We can't recommend The Derries highly enough. It's more than just a place to stay; it's a home away from home and a perfect sanctuary for anyone looking to recharge and reconnect with nature. "
