We did a week in Ireland, rented car, and took series of great day trips. Nigel’s apartment was a great base in central Dublin. Very clean, comfortable, great for a family, and Nigel was very attentive. Only two negatives were: the neighborhood is a bit gritty and getting access to the car park requires coordination with Nigel every time you come and go.
Overall happy with apartment. Nice and clean. Outside area is a busier street with Chinese restaurants and markets along with other businesses. Check in was smooth as was departure. Parking was not ideal as had to contact the property manager every time you left or arrived to open gates. While he was very accommodating was an extra step and required coordination. Great cheap eats Turkish place right outside front door.
This is an older property but clean and very well located - In my opinion it is a great place for tourists to stay. We were just a short walk from the "pick up" points for three bus tours. Just a few blocks from multiple pubs/restaurants, convenience stores, grocery stores and shops. Communication with the property manager was great. Beds were comfy. Building was secure. If you're an American tourist, be sure to bring an outlet converter (or three!) and washcloths (towels are provided, but not wash cloths). It was great having a kitchen and a washer/dryer.

Unexpected
Nigel was lovely, responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, the on line description is grossly inaccurate and, among other things, states that the flat is “1 minute walk O'Connell Street! 5 mins walk Temple Bar, Trinity College, Henry Street & Grafton Street Shopping…, i.e as convenient as it gets!!” Simply not true; Parnell St and Chinatown are not as convenient or desirable as one would hope. Moreover, many minor issues in the flat needing attention. We, nonetheless, enjoyed our stay in Dublin and interactions with Nigel.
Nigel is an excellent host: he responds quickly to questions; met us at the unit and gave a quick tour and gave us wine and cheese. Apartment is on a busy street, but street noise was not a factor in the bedrooms. Apartment is in a very ethnic neighborhood, but I always felt safe. Walking distance to everything .
This apartment was spacious enough for my family of five and was just as advertised. The kitchen was perfect! Nigel was very responsive and met us at the apartment to show us how to get in, use the keys, hot water heater, etc. He also provided some great recommendations for restaurants/pubs, museums and more. This was in a central location in the heart of the city so we were able to walk almost everywhere. The train station is also within a 10 minute walk. Overall, this apartment met the needs of my family. It was secure (key fob access through multiple doors and elevator). We were very pleased with the check-in process and Nigel’s hospitality. Thanks for the lovely stay!
The bed here is great. So cozy. The kitchen is large and well stocked which was lovely as we had our children who are picky eaters. We came after 3 nights in London and it was so nice to have the washer dryer. We stayed three nights and left with clean clothes for everyone before heading to Ireland’s west coast. The flat comes with a parking spot which we used for the rental car one night. The host is lovely and accommodating and super responsive. It’s a short walk to everything worth seeing in Dublin. Would recommend!

We had some problems accessing property due to owner using incorrect email. After that was resolved we had no further problems. The apartment met all our needs.

Better communication would have been nice - there was too little detail in the description of the property.
Size and site of the property was good. No additional supplies in apartment, e.g., toilet paper, towels, etc.

check-in debacle
Check-in process did not go well despite multiple proactive conversations with host about early arrival and various arrangements for check-in: Host wasn't ready; could get in touch initially, keys were not in lock box as indicated. Had to call host multiple times to get the situation resolved. Video instructions for check-in is outdated relative to process currently in place . . . while property technically could sleep 8, it cannot comfortably accommodate this number with storage space and places to leave luggage/bags . . . walking distance estimates to various sites/attractions that are listed in the booking notice are under represented by about 50% (seeming closer than actually they are) . . . property not well supplied: only 1 dishwasher pod, battery remotes dead . . . on the plus side: this is a great location in the city.
Stayed for a short family trip brilliant location beside all the main tourist attractions & the airport bus stop. It was a very spacious apartment , really clean & very comfy beds. The host was professional & helpful would definitely recommend.
