"A nice older hotel that’s been maintained, but isn’t fancy. The room was a bit cramped - the king size bed was essentially against the wall making it difficult to get out and didn’t have enough space for a bedside table. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a good, economical spot in downtown Berkeley."

"I was sent to Fremont for a 3-6 month assignment. I booked this hotel because of the price and customer rating. I should have known better once I arrived and saw the families living at the property. That pales in comparison to the lack of good customer service. The counter staff had the attitude as if they were doing me a favor by allowing me to stay there. The fact that they only have one(1) microwave oven on the property, and that one microwave oven is located in the laundry room, is incredible!!! The one ice machine and one vending machine is unreal. Honestly, I wonder if this place is ever inspected before it's listed on any booking site? This hotel has the potential to be an average place if they take the time to do a little updating of the property and customer service classes for the staff."

"It was a very descent place to stay . Staff was friendly . The room had a little funky smell but otherwise everything was great . I left a sweater behind and the hotel staff called me to notify me it’s the first time a hotel calls me to let me know I left something behind no other hotel has done that when I left stuff behind so I was thankful for that . I will definitely stay again ."
