Friendly staff got us checked in early as the room was ready. For a small charge we got a pass for the pool for 24 hours which was lovely. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Didn't eat here so can't comment on food. There was a wedding going on but it was nice and quiet in our room so it didn't disturb us.

This was the first time that me and my brother have been to this hotel since 2010 and despite it having an makeover, it felt the same way which brought back great memories when we were younger. even the Leisure facilities were the same as we remembered. Kalah and the team were very friendly and welcoming to us and other guest and were very happy to answer any enquires that we had. I would like to give a mention to Craig from the Leisure for his generosity when asking about an issue we had. The waiters for Breakfast and Dinner were very pleasant and made sure that the guest were satisfied with there meals. The room 113 that we had was very spacious and just what we were looking for as a weekend stay. if there was one picky detail that I would bring up was the hot tap in the bath needs fixed as it was loose when turning so when had to push down quite firmly then turn to release the hot water. But the overall experience of the hotel was just as amazing as we remembered all those years ago and we will definitely be back. I can't recommend this hotel enough to anyone that wants a relaxing break in Dundee.

Lovely hotel as ever clean room, very friendly helpful staff , nothing is too much trouble. Swimming pool was great and jacuzzi was most invigorating, just what was needed first thing in the morning. Plenty of parking onsite , so on the whole a very pleasant 3 night stay.

Always enjoy staying at the Woodlands. The staff are always the best, the food in the restaurant is always excellent (particularly the steak casserole) and the bar is a cosy wee spot to just sit in and relax.

This is my second stay at The Woodlands. It’s a wonderful hotel with equally as wonderful employees. It’s clean and quiet and the food and bar are excellent. It will always be my first choice when staying in the ferry.
