The lodge was brilliant. Very clean and of a good standard with all necessary amenities within. A brilliant remote location within the woods but not too far from the urban areas of Oakley and Dunfermline. Would recommend this place.
4 of us celebrating our best friends 60th. Loved the open plan kitchen, dining & sitting room area. Great comfy bed & so nice to see a bath🤗Scenery from the Patio outside was superb , fields & fields, you could be anywhere in the world & so peaceful. Would definitely go back ♥️
We booked this cottage as a safe wheelchair accessible home from home during Mum's bathroom renovation. Plenty of space for Mum to move around. The open plan nature of the living space includes the cook too! The weather wasn't great but we relaxed in the house and had a peaceful time. The walks around the area kept my husband happy!
Loved every minute staying at this gorgeous cabin. Beautiful views, friendly owner and very well stocked. Dogs loved the walks around the property and overall just a really nice place to spend a few days.
Great woodland location with views across the countryside. Property is large and spacious with modern kitchen.
Karen and Craig are great hosts and very friendly.
Would definitely recommend
The property itself was excellent. We had a warm welcome, comfortable beds and beautiful views. The property was also well equipped. However, booking via Vrbo caused significant headaches. We will return but will book via cottages.com whose customer service were excellent compared to the awful experience with Vrbo

Nachdem wir von Rehen, Kaninchen und einem Fasan begrüßt wurden, fanden wir nicht nur ein idyllisch gelegenes Haus, sondern auch ein sauberes, gut ausgestattes Objekt.
Very relaxing clean property in a beautiful location.

Had a fantastic stay at lime tree.
Had a fantastic stay at lime tree. The house was lit up and cosy for us arriving with the owner being on hand to help and show me around. The kitchen had everything we needed and the rest of the lodge had the basics too! Would definitely stay again. Only slight drawback was paying extra on top of the £200 booking for heating which I feel should be incorporated into the cost. However, a fantastic stay and I would recommend.

Fabulous cottage in an ideal location to get away from it all!!
On holiday with my two sons (9 & 10yrs), they loved the location too, exploring around the woodlands, driving and also taking a train trip into Edinburgh to visit the Castle and the Dungeons and generally just chilling in the cottage.
The cottage had everything we needed, shops were quite close by, the beds were amazingly comfortable, bedrooms super sized and the lounge/kitchen/diner was a great size too - only downside was the WIFI, we brought our firestick to watch movies but we encountered many buffering problems and by the end of the week it had had enough! One bonus though - it stopped the kids playing games online and streaming with friends and me from working remotely!!
The owners were lovely, left us to do our own thing - there if we needed which was comforting in the remote location, everything flowed nicely and we had a fantastic break :)
