When looking at this hotel it looked quite luxurious, 4 and a half star hotel with good reviews. Unfortunately when arriving I learnt this wasn’t the case, everything about the hotel is worn and dated, the room which I was provided with was okay but did have a few issues, such as the lamp not working, TV was glitchy and the ‘queen’ bed was just two singles binded together. Ordered room service the glasses came with the tray (which is £5 to have delivered) were dirty. The room itself was quite nice but just little things like paintwork being poorly done makes the difference to how you feel during your stay. The gym/sauna/pool were one of the reasons I chose this hotel, from the photos it all looked lovely; unfortunately the cleanliness was awful. The gym on our first night was packed and so was the pool and sauna, that’s not the gyms fault it was busy but something to consider they do also have a lot of members outside of the hotel that use the gym facilities. The jacuzzi / sauna just looks like it doesn’t get cleaned often which is noticeable. All in all the hotel is located nicely and has nice views, ofcourse there is quite major construction going on right outside the hotel currently so that change the view / add to noise quite a bit. Personally I wouldn’t stay here again, for what I paid which was £120 per night it was far from worth it and quite underwhelming, if you can stay here for say £65 per night it would be okay because that’s all it’s worth truthfully.
