Informed the front desk in the morning, and they did not do anything about it to make it right. Definitely not the stay we expected for the price paid"

"Lost out on over $200. CAUSE they said i was a day late for my reservation. Saying my reservation was made for Thursday February 26 when i triple check the date on the app that it was for Fridays February 27-28. But the customer is always wrong when it comes to technology. Really unfair, all i was offered was 25 one cash. I would take a reimbursement in one cash. But as a First Nation Indigenous person, im used to not being believed. I will always be in the wrong. "Not worth it! Our VRBO nightmare! Originally our family of 5 (2 Adult and 3 children), we were planning to stay at this location for just over 2 months but were forced to cut it short and find alternate arrangements. Upon arrival we immediately noticed the house was not 100% as described. The photos in VRBO listing make it seem like the house was recently renovated, Hardwood floors throughout the upper level with moderate to higher end finishes throughout and reasonable furnishings, which is what we were expecting considering the rate the host requested. What we received was house with extremely uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, a main floor covered in miss matched area rugs covering damaged hardwood flooring, duct tape & tuct tape finishes, Black Mold, Broken washing machine with a note to be repaired 1/2 way through our stay, Nonfunctioning blinds, peeling wallpaper throughout the upper washroom, damaged fixtures in various locations, fabric coverings over the leather sofa due to the quality of leather making it again uncomfortable to use, non-functioning electrical outlets in the master bedroom and various damaged finishes throughout the entire house. The space is only legally allowed by the City of Calgary to have a maximum of 4 occupants on the main level as the basement did not pass required safety codes, so the listing capacity is a lie and the kitchen is a gas stove that has an exhaust within the house that sets the CO2 alarm almost every time you cook. "
