Nice hotel although it was very with weddings which gave it a "train station" feel rather than a relaxing country house. Likewise the "fine dining" room lacked tablecloths which made it a little "cafeteria-like". But most of all - the bedroom was ridiculousy hot, even tho' it was cool/cold outside (17c): the bedroom windows were locked so that they open only 6 inches (supposedly for safety reasons - although there was zero chance of falling out). The hotel declined to open the windows and offered only 2 air fans which were of no use. The room temperature as 33c. This very much spoiled our stay: avoid rooms directly over the (very hot) spa facility !

Super clean room, I received an unexpected upgrade and it really was superb. Kitchen very well fitted out with everything you might need. The location is excellent and the property manager amazing. Quick with replies and I didn’t feel like anything was too much trouble. The bed was so comfy and the pillows are the best I have ever slept on! The cleanliness throughout the property was fabulous. All in all a perfect 10/10 stay. Thank you

Room was clean but on getting into bed I noticed that the extractor fan in the bathroom wouldn’t turn off and the noise was very loud throughout the night ,, so sleep was very disrupted!! . I reported this first thing in the morning and although they sent the maintenance guy to take a look ( twice ) and he confirmed there was a problem. I asked if I could switch rooms and about any chance of compensation for my sleepless night and the wasted 2-3 hours trying to sort out the issue out . They obliged with another room, however compensation was £10 which I thought was very poor considering the situation, the staff were not very understanding or helpful ,, so unfortunately my experience staying at this hotel wasn’t a good one 😔

Amazing room. The attention to detail on everything was outstanding. Loved our stay. Can’t wait for our next weekend break.
