"Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont."

"We felt very welcomed, the staff was friendly, the rooms were so clean and comfortable, there were big mugs for tea and coffee, an easy walk to many Stowe shops and restaurants and we only noticed when leaving but there is a family room area with board games too. Great stay!"

"The manager was so very helpful! He even printed out a document for me. The lobby and breakfast area were beautiful. Sidewalks for walking. Clean room and comfortable bed!"

"The outdoor pool was large and heated, this was a highlight of our stay, hot tub was great as well. Breakfast was very limited to our surprise, we expected more options. No scrambled eggs or fried potatoes. Got charged around $40 (facility fees), something to be aware of. Location is great, very easy to get to main sightseeing, shops and restaurants."

"Second time staying here and will continue to come back. Thoughtful outdoor touches - great seating near the creek in the back, sauna and indoor pool are great amenities. The rooms and beds are clean, comfy, and cozy."
