We chose this hotel for its proximity to the theaters of NYC which worked well. However, this is a bare bones hotel at best. Room was on the 12th floor and had very minimal amenities. The window air conditioner worked well and the bed was comfortable. Make sure you bring a sound machine to drown out the slamming of doors as people arrive and exit at all hours of night. Sound proofing between rooms was good, but you can hear everything that happens in the hallway. We chose a room in the rear of the hotel to avoid street noise, but didn't realize how quickly and loudly the doors close. The most annoying inconvenience was the fluctuating temperature in the shower which would intermittently lose pressure and occasionally just stop completely before resuming after a few seconds. Lots of food options around and the location worked well for us.

Clean room, friendly staff!!

The lobby looks like a communist building during the cold war. The staff was all very nice and the room was clean. The location is great. There is supposed to be breakfast, but the restaurant area is probably the worst feature. There are old faded artificial flowers that look dirty and sad. The area looks nothing like the pictures in the listing and the price of the breakfast is very expensive for what is offered.

Stayed 5 nights in a metro two double bed room (23rd floor ) . Just 2 persons and 4 would have been a bit of a squash and a squeeze . Room cleaned well every day . Great location opp Penn station and subway entrance 25 m away . Happy with decision to stay here after going through many options .

Loved the stay, small quarters but to be expected for NYC. Clean quiet rooms, staff were super friendly and helpful. Would stay again on a return visit.
