A fantastic stay

We had an excellent and enjoyable overnight stay at Tiger Inn. The food was fantastic, the room was comfortable and had an extensive selection of teas/coffees, the staff were helpful and enthusiastic and the pub itself historic and charming. We will be back!

A very comfortable stay. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and attentive. Room was very clean and well equipped with lots of additional touches, such as a selection of good quality tea and coffee sachets and bright flowers in the window boxes. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We also had dinner in the inn the night before - the menu was varied and we enjoyed the meal. Very easy to walk to the coast directly from the hotel.

Really enjoyed our short break at the Tiger Inn. Spacious room with comfortable bed, ensuite bath/shower (very powerful shower, which was great) teat & coffee making, ironing board, hairdryer, TV, bottled water, etc, as you would expect. Good hearty breakfast with various menu choices (fruit, yoghurts, cereals, toast, cooked dishes) in the downstairs snug area. Peaceful and quiet (on the village green) and the evening drinks and food punters had all gone by 10PM, so no disturbance from others for sleeping. Free carparking facilities (not theirs but village green carparking) so no problem there. Can get evening meals at the Inn as well. Staff friendly and helpful.

While the Tiger Inn pub is nicely located by the village inn and the staff were very helpful, the room was over priced for what it was - a nice room in a pub. To describe it as 'luxury' is somewhat misleading in my view. The food was good but nothing special, so again, certainly didnt justify the 'luxury' reference

Just go.....

Absolutely amazing location, fabulous, reliable, transport links. Some beautiful areas within walking distance of the accommodation and the staff were just simply amazing. From the housekeeping to the management, nothing was ever too much trouble, even though they were extremely busy due to the location and it being the centre of the village, they still made a point of seeking you out, asking about your day and chatting as much as their schedules would allow. A truly incredible place that I would recommended to everyone and we will stay here again

Lovely stay great service

Lovely room and service was fab. One of us was dairy and wheat intolerant and chef accommodated brilliantly for dinner (not just removing stuff but ensuring great options). Breakfast was lovely too. Lovely stay highly recommended.

Veldig koselig sted i East Dean. Komfortabel seng og godt utvalg av kaffe og te på rommet. Glutenfri frokost ikke noe problem - service upåklagelig. Veldig hyggelig å sitte ute i solen og nyte mat eller drikke, og gode muligheter for fine gå- og sykkelturer i nærheten.

Lovely location; charming bedroom

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tiger Inn. Bedroom and en-suite were charming and spotlessly clean. Staff friendly, efficient and helpful. It was in a lovely location on the village green. Plenty of free car parking. Would definitely recommend it. Bus stop a short walk away, with a regular service to both Eastbourne and Brighton.

Very nice room above country pub

The room was comfortable and well equipped, the staff friendly and welcoming and the location perfect as a base for walking along the coast (Seven Sisters, Beachy Head etc.). The no. 12 bus runs along the coast, through the village every ten minutes which we used to take us to one end of our walk. Couldn't ask for more really, definitely recommended.
