Really nice clean good size room with side sea view. Really good value for money. Nice added extras like the bag of take away breakfasts that I wasn't expecting. Really friendly welcoming helpful staff. Great location.

Great value for money
Booked a couple’s night away with the dog. The team were more than welcoming to us and even had treats for the dog left in the room. The view was amazing out of the bay window out onto the seafront and the room was nice and big. Great value for money for the trip and the breakfast bag was a bonus as it’s clear that they don’t serve a proper breakfast.

Comfortable and pleasant
I booked a family stay (2 adults 1 teen) for the August bank hol. I was expecting a triple room but to my surprise it was a queen room and separate room with bunk bed which my daughter enjoyed. The bunk bed was a pain though as it creaked and squeaked at every turn - even a sneeze. The bathroom was clean, but dated. Tiny corner sink which made a mess when washing our face/brushing teeth. Mannerable staff at hotel, very welcoming and friendly.

Highly recommend West Rocks Hotel!!
The service and attention to detail at West Rocks was second to none!! The location is fantastic as it’s on the sea front and all the staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. They have extra little gestures such as treats at reception, an individual continental breakfast bag and when they found out it was a special occasion, they had left a lovely surprise in my room!! The parking permit they give to guests is such a steal!! I was very happy with everything and would thoroughly recommend West Rocks and would happily stay there again!! Well done West Rocks Hotel!!

Please look I different I Hotels
If I had more money I would of gone a stay somewhere else there is no facilities to get anything to eat my room was nothing like it was showed you on the pictures I’ve never been so disappointed in staying somewhere as I was staying in this hotel yes the staff which I say was okay there was not one room that you showed me on hotel Bookingcom that was in that hotel yeah only thing I can say about it was the bed was comfortable

Excellent stay, very friendly staff, lovely big room in nice period property. Great size bathroom. Nice decor. Very Clean, Good breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Granddaughters first time in an hotel she loved it.

Excellent stay for a short break to watch the tennis at Eastbourne. Right on the seafront convenient for the shops and attractions of Eastbourne. Room only but the complementary continental breakfast was very welcome

It was my son who stayed at the property. Having had a difficult journey (M25 gridlocked), he was late and the hotel welcomed him and they looked after him throughout the stay. He enjoyed the experience.

For value couldn’t be better
Stayed for the tennis and we were pleasantly surprised. Very friendly check in, sea front location and a large room. It’s not 5 star and a bit faded but we’ll come again. Pick up complimentary breakfast hits the spot and across the road on the prom (hidden) is a coffee bar, as it’s part of the hotel it surprisingly not featured at check in.

August bank holiday getaway
Excellent stay at WestRocks. Perfect location on the seafront, ideal suite for family (including dog) and super friendly hosts. Enjoyed the hotel’s cafe on the beach, plus nearby street of independent cafes and restaurants (Carlisle Road). Also, fun hiring kayaks - only a couple of minutes walk away. We all said we’d love to return.

Hotel was exactly what you expected for a Victorian type of sea front hotel , don't expect the Ritz or Savoy . Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, Hotel was clean but typically dated. Had a room with seaview , room was way overpriced for what it was £150 have been in rooms 4 times bigger for that price but when you think you only use it to sleep in it was adequate so the price didn't spoil the weekend . All in all enjoyable .

Ideal for short breaks
Pleasant stay for one night. Very good location near the beach and short walk to restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff too. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast for the additional cost, it was a basic English breakfast with limited alternative options or even fruit.
