We had a really good stay at the Kvosin Downtown Hotel. The staff were really helpful in advance of our stay (regarding our enquiries about parking and sofabed). The family room was spacious with a big bathroom and excellent underfloor heating. The breakfast was nice with a good range of choices. Superb location for exploring Reykjavik.

We were assigned to a different building than what we were expecting per the photos shown during booking. There was also renovations going on in our building , resulting in a lot of noise in the morning.

The room did not resemble the pictures at all. It was low ceilings, dark and a cellar level. The room did not have 2 queen beds but included a sofa bed which was not advertised. The bathroom smelled so bad from the sewer. We were unable to use the bathroom or sleep.
