"We really enjoyed our stay at The Little George! Geoff was super kind and helpful, showed us to our room. The room was lovely and spacious and very clean, lovely bathroom with a big shower (the included toiletries smelled amazing too!). Well stocked minibar, teas and coffees etc. WiFi was very good too, easy to connect and fast, which is needed in this area as mobile data signal can be a bit iffy. Extra pillow, towels provided with no issue when we asked. Included breakfast was absolutely fab, the 'Bent's Breakfast' aka full English was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had! The Staffordshire Oatcakes are also super tasty, quite a heavy breakfast though and I couldn't finish them! Parking was easy, nice off road parking on the other side of the beer garden. Would just say that it is right in the centre of Eccleshall so there is quite a lot of traffic but that didn't bother us. The bathroom door was near on impossible to properly close from the inside so had to get each other to close the latch from the outside, and no lock on the bathroom door. Also one of the lights by the bed didn't work, we did let them know but it wasn't fixed. Other than that, we had a great stay at The Little George and would recommend to anyone staying in the Eccleshall area!"

"Room was very clean, comfortable temperature and a very friendly welcome from reception. It’s a dated ‘motel’ (motorway hotel) but perfectly adequate. Room had a fusty smell due to age of building I expect, or the very old carpet - window opens to air it off "

"I was shocked to find a dirty pair of pants left on on shelf of the bedside table. The room felt was fine to sleep a night but certainly over priced "

"We paid extra for a “superior room” the bed was rock hard, curtains in a large room were falling down and looked pinned up. No heating and again in a room so large with tall ceilings it didn’t heat up well and room and bathroom was so cold all stay. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was spotless and beautifully presented, and the heating was already on when we arrived which made it feel instantly welcoming. The host communicated brilliantly throughout and made everything very easy. The cottage had every amenity you could need, with thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, and even board games. The location was perfect as well, right next to the pub. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!"

"We are just back from a wonderful week here, celebrating our family's boys bdays 11 and 12th. We had lovely week the garden was great, a big hit and we entertained had a BBQ and loved every minute of our big family reunion. Our doggo Amara was out all day it was so peaceful quiet and as the garden was enclosed we had no worries for the kids/dog. The cottage had everything we needed and the owner was fantastic. We will defo be back"
