""Papa's Place" was just as described, a quiet, peaceful and comfortable cabin, a wonderful cabin for kicking back and relaxing or making day trips to so many nearby attractions. "Very satisfied with our room in the lodge and the owners/staff are friendly and accommodating. The lodge has a very interesting history and I loved the antique decor. We took a peek at the motel rooms they also have and those are decorated in 60s/70s theme, clean and large windows that look out to the lake. We may have to try those next time! We enjoyed our stay very much."

"Christy’s home and property are absolutely beautiful! The huge porch became our favorite place to sit back, take it all in, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We also loved sitting by the fire and listening to the frogs.It was the perfect place to unwind and finish out our vacation. If you’re looking for somewhere to unplug, relax, and recharge, this is definitely the place to be! Christy is an absolutely wonderful host; very, accommodating, and incredibly responsive. We would definitely stay here again!"
