Clean, nice water pressure/temp, and close to center/transportation. No laundry on premises (they contract a company who doesnt come on Sundays), heat/heater would turn off randomly, and power would cut off with converter/adaptor (which was used in other hotels with no problem).

Very comfortable stay, large room with lovely view. Large bathroom with large bath. Highly convenient service area to make tea/coffee and breakfast. Very clean. Historic property with beautiful lounge area. Excellent parking in safe location. Highly convenient to travel to Liverpool and Birkenhead whilst staying in a rural location.

This hotel is close enough to Lime Street Station that you can hear the announcements! It is also handy for the city centre and is a 20 minute walk to Albert Dock.
Despite being quite an old hotel, it is very well maintained and has excellent rooms with a good shower that are well sized.
I was also really impressed with breakfast as there were a lot of options that were regularly replenished.
Would definitely stay again.
