Omni Providence Hotel

2/10 Terrible

"Room was not cleaned until third day o stay. When I went down at 9 am and told person at front desk they picked up the phone and said they would send someone up right away. When I came back at 3 pm room still had not been cleaned. I asked cleaning person in the hall who said no one called to tell them to clean room. Many other examples of poor customer service. Here’s just one of many: before I checked out I texted to have my car sent up. When I came down my car was there but it was locked and there was no one present to retrieve the keys. I don’t blame the line personnel on the cleaning staff, in the restaurant or on the valet service but clearly the managers here have no concept of good customer service and should be dismissed."

"The ice machine did not work. The room was pretty clean but then! Bed bug bites on my whole body. I didnt notice anything until the bites started appearing on my arms and legs. I couldn't figure out what the bites were at 1st until I googled it and there it was the exact same bites that I had. Lesson learned. Do not stay there or any Wyndham. They should be ashamed of that place."

Renovated Family Home on Providence River!

"Terrific property located on the east side of the Providence River. Both the property owner Aimee, and the local contact Camila, were very responsive and were accommodating of our request to get into the house slightly before the "standard" check in time. Check in was a breeze.The house itself is charming and comfortable, and was just the right location for our son's college graduation across the river in Providence. Also a convenient spot for easy jaunts down to Newport and Matunuk. Everything is clean and updated and we were delighted to have stayed at this home. Definitely recommend this property and the hosts. You cannot go wrong."

"Lovely spacious and comfortable apartment close to Providence. Space was clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and we really appreciated the fresh eggs left for us by the host who greeted us warmly. There was a great cafe and bakery just down the street. Would definitely stay there again."

"Check-in was a bit of a problem as someone was unexpectedly in my room, maybe didn't check out when they were supposed to be I t room appeared to be booked to me in system. Some noise I. The evening from guests on the floor. Should be quiet rules after midnight or 1am. Otherwise, clean and comfortable and housekeeping excellent"
