Loved the location, it is just steps from the Royal Mile and lots of attractions. The Tolbooth Tavern nearby was a great find. The building itself is really good as well. There is are lot of stairs, but also a lot of space which was very good for our famiy stay. The building does need some updates (ie carpet on stairs looks dingy, and there are banged up walls in the stairway is likely from lots of travellers). Overall though we loved the well stocked kitchen, 4 bedrooms and bathrooms!! The main living room tv did not work and when I messaged the owner I did not hear back. Minor flaws overall and I would still recommend this property, or stay again.

Very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for a big family or 3 couples. Lots of dinnerware, pots and pans. Comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again.

Great accomodation and excellent situation right by train station and 5min walk to royal mile . Picked up open top bus there .would recommend especially if arriving by train.

The apartment was clean had everything you needed , including an iron and ironing board . Only downside no instructions on to how to use the oven.

Excellent accommodation.
I had booked an apartment but we ended up in a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhouse! In a great location, walking distance from Waverley station. Quality furnishings and bedding. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location but somewhat dated apartment
You are predominately paying for two things here - location and parking. Right in the centre of the city, the location can’t be faulted. The apartment however is somewhat dated and cheaply furnished. No outside ventilation in the bathroom makes it very stuffy. It’s also a bit of a squeeze if there are 4 full grown people staying! Good as a base for a short stay.

Royal Mile apartments
Excellent accommodation, was a bit confused getting the key at the start but that was down to my inability to bother reading the email, not the premises!! Would have liked more softness to deaden the echo. Everything is designed for easy clean so all laminate floors means very hollows and echos. Everything you needed to stay for a while in comfort.

Great, quiet location
Short stay with family also staying at the Royal Mile Accommodation. Our suite was clean and presentable but rather tired in comparison with their suite. Needed airing but staff immediately sorted this. Early access was much appreciated and on-site free parking was perfect. Great location, quiet and would certainly consider again.

Our second stay at this place.
This was our second time at this location and we are glad we booked here again. I’ll start with the only problem. The bedding is some of the most uncomfortable we have experienced — it isn’t fancy place, so lumpy pillows aren’t that big a problem. Fabulous location, friendly and helpful staff: a casual home away from home. We will look to see if it’s available the next time we are in Edinburgh.

The location was excellent . . . right off the Royal Mile and a short walk from Waverley Station!, The self check-in was easy and communicated well in the emails/texts received. The accommodation was spacious for our family of five and felt like “a home”. It was so nice to have 3 bathrooms. Our request to stay a couple of hours longer was accommodated. We wish we could have stayed longer. ,

I was blown away by the size of our accommodations. There were 4 bathrooms! My family loved staying here and we'd do it again. I did tear my sock on a nail sticking out of the kitchen floor but other than that we loved it.

Apartment 8/3 Definitely worth a return visit!
Lovely, comfortable apartment in great location. Only minor quibbles - no plug in kitchen sink, no cereal bowls and no kitchen towel provided but I am being really picky. Will definitely return

Handy for the Royal Mile
Well equipped property with excellent WiFi although humping suitcases up 2 flights of stairs was a bit of a pain

Just steps off the Royal Mile so very convenient. Needed to have as many towels as people booked to stay there and the dryer didn’t get hot and there were no directions for it. Other than that it was a nice stay!

Everything was great. Picked up keys at pizza place across the street due to late check-in. Only problem is they only gave us 1 set of keys for a place that sleeps a small army. Meant we all had to stick together or someone had to stay back at place. Orher than that it was great.

Close to everything in Edinburgh
The Apartment was clean, comfortable and well appointed. It has some wear and tear, could use some updates, but we were there to see Scotland, not sit around the apartment. No electric outlets in the bathrooms, which was odd. We were centrally located, right on the royal mile, which was awesome! The staff was very friendly and accommodating of our needs. I would highly recommend the property if visiting Edinburgh. A personal word of advice; Edinburgh is not handicap friendly. Cobblestone streets, steep hills and stairs, makes it difficult for those traveling with someone that isn't in good walking condition. My sister and I, learned this the hard way, by bringing our mother along. Please keep that in mind, when planning a visit.

I can’t work out why some people have given poor reviews. Fab location, comfy beds, free WiFi, tea & coffee provision with some milk. The comms before we arrived from the company first class. Getting the key simple. Apartment was on 3 floors, spacious with 3 showers. Will use again for sure.

Spacious apartment great location by Royal Mile
Our family of five stayed here for our two day visit to Edinburgh. Very spacious, clean and comfortable - more bathrooms than my own house ! Great location as we were within walking distance of the train station and all major sites. Would definitely return !
