It has small bar and very accommodating staff , breakfast is good for the price I pay.We managed to check in early as the room is available and we did had a good rest as we have an early flight. Location is walkable to prince st. And deans village but you can get a bus going to town centre.

No tea and coffee in the room. We called reception and had to call again after one hour of waiting for it, even then it didnt get delivered to the room.

Walkable from airport, if not too much luggage. Great selection at breakfast. Rooms small yet functional. Fun deco. A great last night before an early flight. Would not stay here to visit Edinburgh, but responds well to the need near airport

Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
Room was boiling hot as the aircon didn’t work. I only realised this when I woke up. Told receptionist on check out and got the old “you should have come down and told us”. It’s not a big deal I was just letting them know. Just the lack of empathy or apology when this happens is a bit irritating. ...
