When booking through Expedia write up stated ,breakfast was served up to 10am at a cost of £5 per head payable at hotel.The Dog and Doublet does not serve breakfast at any time. This would appear to be an error on the part of Expedia not having full knowledge of the hotel they are advertising,as we were attending a wedding locally it was an ideal place to have a good night's sleep and a breakfast before setting off for home but thanks to Expedia that was not going to happen.Get your facts right before advertising properties.

We flew from Canada for a 70th Birthday party here. Room was great, breakfast was delicious. Liam our Breakfast server was phenomenal!! He was an attentive and professional with a smile. The Trainee manager Ryan with the lovely hair was a pleasure, as were the two bar tenders Jamie and Nathan. We would not hesitate to book this place again.

Great stay. Room was ready early, really comfortable. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast too.

Need an extractor fan in bathroom!

The property needs a serious overhaul looking very dated in decoration. Old wall paper on the walls with marking on the paper , carpets need a refresh , small tv which needs to be replaced with a new tv on the wall. Bathroom shower worked but needs a new shower as i couldnt properly turn the shower off after use. Minamul tea facilities in room. Veru poor standard of accommodation but it was quite cheap hotel . Think i will book a different hotel next time
