Suitable for one night, but that’s about it

If you just need a place to sleep, this place is suitable. Bed is fine, pleasantly surprised about the room having a bathtub. Overall appearance and cleanliness is not great but adequate. Our bathroom door jammed on us randomly, and with that and other interactions with the staff everyone seemed to be annoyed to be there and that we were inconveniencing them by doing very normal things like checking in and out. Things seemed to be done the cheapest way possible, e.g. no hand towel.

Siisti mutta epämukava

Hankilökunta oli todella mukava ja huone oli siisti, mutta paljon olisi parannettavaa. Kylpyhuoneen ovi ei mennyt kunnolla kiinni, lämmityspatteri piti koko yön paljon meteliä, tyynyt oli kuin koripallon päällä olisi nukkunut. Kylpyammeeseen ei myöskään ollut oikeanlaista tulppaa, joten sitä ei voinut käyttää.

Fine, but quality not in line with high prices

In isolation, there is nothing wrong with this hotel. The rooms are decent size, the beds sleep well, there is a small desk, a working shower with warm water, and free wifi. There is a common use microwave and toaster downstairs. However, the quality it offers is in no way in line with the very high price that is charged. With that high price, you would expect extras such as breakfast included, a fridge, free parking, a gym or at the minimum free coffee for clients. There is none. Coffee costs almost 3 euro out of the machine. There is no fridge. The wifi works but quality is mediocre, no gym, only paid parking. I get it, staff cost is expensive. But the staff doesn't provide any extra services aside from any other budget hotel. This hotel is great for business meetings, if your boss pays for it. Sadly, this is one the cheapest decent hotels in the Netherlands now.

Enige minpunt was dat het matras behoorlijk was doorgezakt, hierdoor slecht geslapen en met rugpijn wakker geworden. Voor de rest prima hotel, ietwat gedateerd maar wel schoon.

Im Laufe der Jahre stetiger Wechsel der Kette mit dem Ergebnis „immer teurer und immer schlechter“ . Seit diesem Jahr wird im Zimmer nach einer Nacht nicht mehr geputzt und keine Mülleimer geleert. Statt dessen entwendet das Reinigubgspersonal Pfanddosen, die nicht im Müll lagen, sondern bei meinen sonstigen Sachen standen. Auf dem Parkplatz durfte ich die Jahre zuvor am Abreisetag auch mal bis 18 Uhr stehen. Jetzt teilt man kurzfristig mit, dass ich bis 12 verschwunden sein muss. 30 Minuten vor 12 super am Marathon-Wochenende.

Redelijk hotel, niet luidruchtig, niet al te duur, maar inrichting is wat aan renovatie toe: morsige vloerbedekking in de gangen, bedden erg zacht, geen werkende safe. Handig is wel het kleine bureautje. Uitzicht op binnenplaats is ook niet waarvoor je moet komen. Ook last van rokende, andere gasten die uit raam hangen. Voor ons eenmalig bezoek.

Het was te doen. Communicatie verloopt hier erg slecht. Ik had van tevoren mail contact gehad over een kamer op de 1e etage omdat ik liftvrees heb. Bij aankomt kreeg ik kamer 307 (2e etage) dit was dus duidelijk niet gecommuniceerd. Lift was trouwens ook het hele verblijf buiten gebruik. Eerste avond douchen was vreselijk, waterdruk was bar slecht. Warm water was enkel een klein straaltje. Ik had het in de ochtend gemeld bij de receptie, waar ze overigens allemaal enkel Engels spreken, en toen ik terug kwam zei hij dat de waterdruk prima was. Toch liep hij mij en constateerde toen zelf ook wel dat het heel slecht was. Ik kreeg een nieuwe kamer, wat zeker fijn was, de waterdruk was hier ook perfect! Echter nog een etage hoger 416.. Al met al een fijne oplossing maar slechte communicatie. Verder was het schoon! Het is wel een oud gebouw. Bed was prima en ook de kussens waren fijn. Ook 12,50 voor een onafgesloten parking aan de dure kant!

Prima locatie als je de milieuzone niet in mag. Hotel ligt dan op loopafstand. Hotel zelf is ook goed, alleen geen ontbijt. Eetgelegenheden genoeg in de buurt. Zou hier weer verblijven indien dit nodig mocht zijn.

Dichtbij het centrum, met de bus 10 min. Hotel Goed, alles wat je nodig hebt. Receptioniste was erg behulpzaam. Zou hier zomaar nog een keer kunnen overnachten. Ik zeg doen!!
