"We had an attic studio, we loved the terrace , there is only a small screen between the two studio terraces but that was fine for us , its an excellent base for exploring the island , easy to park next to property and an easy couple of minutes walk to the restaurants and harbour, the hosts were excellent and it was kept clean at all times around the property and our studio was cleaned every other day with clean sheets and towels. For the money we paid we were very happy."

"Panos and his wife wet were excellent hosts. They were very friendly and most helpful. The room was cleaned every day, had a small but adequate (for us) tv and a lovely, quiet air conditioning unit. A 5 minute walk or 10 minute stroll to the harbour and the tavernas. Located up a little bit of an incline but I managed it well enough even while carrying a weeks supply of water for 2 and I’m 68."

"From the moment we arrived, I knew we had selected the perfect place for our stay in Kefalonia. Our host was warm and friendly, the apartment was clean and beautiful … with an amazing view! And the village of Agia Effimea offered the perfect combination of restaurants and stores without being overly touristy. The host lives on site and takes great care of the property. In the backyard she has a beautiful garden and she sent us home with the sweetest tomatoes you will ever taste."

"MIKRO Villa was really really great. The place was very well furnished, clean, modern and well located with just a few minutes walk into town. Able to park the car right outside the villa every day with no trouble whatsoever. It wasn’t quite warm enough to use the plunge pool but, had it been, it would have been a perfect touch. The outside area is great with loads of areas to sit and lie in the shade, or not, and we took advantage one night of the gas BBQ ..with delicious pork chops from the local butcher. Kostas couldn't have been more helpful, there when we needed him. Agia Efimia is a lovely harbour village with plenty of good, varied restaurants and bars and very smart. (don’t miss the lamb cutlets at THE LOCAL ). We visited several other villages on the coast nearby and this was definitely our favourite. 100% recommend staying here!!"
