"Amazing views from the hotel, bus stop from Argostoli nearby. Easy to walk to mellisini caves and easy to arrange transfer to the Sami to Patras Ferry. No need to leave hotel till at least 8.10 for the ferry but we left earlier as I was a bit of a worrier! Pool and hot tub amazing. Tennis court great fun with the kids. Easy to walk to Sami and to restaurants. Only regret I wasn’t stopping longer! Staff so friendly and helpful. The staffs English was excellent which helped me as I know very little Greek. I’d come back for sure. Kids loved it too."

"We had a fabulous holiday in Anassa boutique. Gavriella was very helpful and replied within minutes to any questions we had. It is across a small road to the beach where we loved our morning swims and a morning cup of tea on the benches looking out to the sea & also perfectly located for a 50m walk to the restaurants, bars and the beautiful harbour of Sami. It's a lovely detached property with shade on the terrace downstairs and all-day sun on the balcony upstairs. The air con in both bedrooms was much needed and the ceiling fans were a great help also.Thanks once again Gavriella"

"Lovely location and easy walk into Sami. Sea is a little cold due to fresh water but refreshing! Taxi to Sami from the rank is 10 Euro. Good food shops in Sami. Local coffee shop and taverna in the square were nice. Apartment was very well stocked and nice welcome gift. Air con in bedrooms and living space was helpful.A cooler day meant a walk to an abandoned village in the hills which was nice."

"We had the most amazing stay in this beautiful villa. The views are simply stunning and the villa photos really don’t do it justice. Everything was thought of and it was one of the cleanest villas we’ve stayed in. Spiros and his family were super friendly and always on hand to help; nothing was too big an issue for them and we were made to feel like family. The location was perfect for us as we hired a car (you will need one as it is too far to walk to town & can only be reached by a main road) and Sami has plenty of lovely restaurants & bakeries at very reasonable prices. It is well positioned for travelling to each end of the island and we did a lot of exploring. Our favourite beaches however were some of the nearest; just 20 minutes drive away with crystal clear waters and great for swimming & snorkelling. We plan to return to Kefalonia and will definitely stay here again."

"The accommodation is well-situated, within walking distance of both the beach and Melissani Lake. There are some sports courts just behind the property that seem free to use, and the bakery next door is fabulous. The local beach was one of our favorites; while it might not have the dramatic beauty of Myrtos or Fteri, it is definitely the coolest beach in Kefalonia. The cold water from Melissani Lake flows into the sea here, creating a refreshing cold top layer. We really appreciated this in the July heat, and there is often a fresh breeze, too. The flat is a good size, clean, and well-furnished. The air conditioning works well, though you can't set the temperature below 23°C (which, to be fair, is cool enough). The only annoying bit is that after a while, the temperature resets itself up to 25°C or 26°C on its own. The owners are great, very helpful and even let us borrow a beach mat and a parasol, which was an absolute lifesaver!There's a couple of restaurant within walking distance which we haven't tried. Sami is only 5mn drive or 30mn walk by the beach and offer plenty choices. I'd definitely recommend this place."

Villa Averto Family sized villa with style, elegance and stunning seaviews!

"Villa Averto was the best home rental we have ever had! The entire property was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. The 3 bedrooms were spacious, and it was wonderful having 3.5 bathrooms for our family of 6. The rental was very well-equipped: plenty of plates, utensil, and glasses/mugs, plus any additional equipment needed for cooking. The outdoor barbeque was a fantastic bonus that we used. We enjoyed dining on the patio (with a sunshade provided) for each meal we were home at the villa. The location was wonderful - centrally located to major tourist sites in Sami, and it was a short walk into the town, where there were many shops and restaurants. Plus the home was up on a hill, with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. It was a lovely surprise to open the refrigerator and find bottled waters, a bottle of wine, and fresh fruit! Additionally, chocolate treats and breakfast croissants were in a basket on the counter. This, combined with daily housekeeping really made for a luxurious stay. Our host, Ourania, greeted us on our arrival day, and she made sure to check in on us and make sure we were comfortable with everything we needed. She communicated 2 days prior to arrival with detailed information on check-in. She was easy to contact through WhatsApp during our stay.I cannot recommend this property enough. If we return to Kefalonia, we will definitely stay here again. An excellent home rental!"

"Fabulous Villa Katerina! Totally private and in a stunning, quiet spot with lovely views. We loved the spacious living area and well-equipped kitchen, but the outside was so special - we ate every meal on the terrace and used the bbq every night. The heated pool was gorgeous and so much bigger than we expected! Our host Rosanna was very helpful and easy to contact, and she had provided some food essentials when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The daily housekeeping was much appreciated too. Loved it, we’ll be back!"
