"We had a very nice, very peaceful stay at the blue heron. A perfect little community off the beaten path. The screened in porch is perfect and the interior of the home is clean and well kept. We had a fire out by the lake each night and could not have been happier, certainly didn't want to leave."

"This place is a very neat place to stay. I am a city girl. So coming here was a unique experience. They have several animals. Sheep, different types of birds. Chickens, turkey, peacock, geese, cattle with big horns, mules or something that looked like a cross between a horse and donkey, Like i said city girl. Lol. But several animals that you get to see and you can tell are loved and well cared for. So it is like waking up in a country tv show. Breakfast was wonderful too. For a city person a unique experience. A good one if you like animals. "

"Beautifully decorated cottage with thoughtful touches. Spent hours on the screened in porch watching the bird life - ospreys, turkey vultures, geese , herons, etc. Very restful. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. Loved our stay. "

My husband and I enjoyed the fire pit, grilling, relaxing on the dock, and just taking in the beautiful views of Lincoln Lake.We cannot wait to come back!"

"Air conditioning worked. The parking was very good. Bed was comfortable. T.V. worked well. No alarm clock.Only problem was the bathroom smelled of cigarettes the whole stay."

"We chose this location to stop in for the night and prepare for a birthday celebration for my grandmother (primarily because of the very nice kitchen). The property is beautiful and the cabin was clean, and we enjoyed our stay, though we wish it could have been longer. Highly recommend!"
