"Check-in and checkout was flawless. Cabin was amazing and has everything you need to be comfortable from the kitchen amenities to bathroom to laundry! Views are breath taking!! Will be staying again in the future! I will say an SUV did make it easy to get up and down the mountain, no paved roads all dirt. Great waterfall hike nearby as well!! Family enjoyed our get away. 10 out of 10 would stay here all over again! "

"Cute cabin perfect for a two day river trip. It literally is located across 340 and up the hill from Compton/Golden Rock. It was nice being able to come into the AC, take a shower and a nap after a hot day on the river then return to my group in the evenings who were camping at Golden Rock. Beds were comfy, fridge kept my stuff cold, plenty of utensils, dishes, glassware etc. I also enjoyed sitting on the covered porch and watching the storms roll in. It definitely put a nice spin on my yearly trek to the Shenandoah River."

"We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived to this home. It is so beautiful and smells so new and clean. It had every amenity we could have needed and so much more. We loved the breathtaking views, sunrises, sunsets, game room, hot tub, and the proximity to all the nearby activities. During our stay we visited the Luray Caverns, took a raft down the Shenandoah River, hiked, biked, made an eventful day trip to Washington DC, and so much more. This house was the perfect hub amongst it all. We didn’t want to leave!"

Reasons why I would stay here again; Communication, location, cleanliness, preparedness (standby generator), easy entry, views, views and the views. Reasons why I wouldn't stay here again; this paragraph was intentionally left blank.Deeper evaluation; Beds were on the firmer side. Driveway has plenty levelish parking.Long beautiful drive up the mountain that will require AWD or 4X4. I have been on many mountain roads and this one is challenging after a heavy rain. Take your time and you will be fine. It's not a race. Neighbors are close but you won't see them. We didn't even hear them. The views are way better in real life. So close to everything you want to see. Make sure to get a good dinner at Chop House Bistro in Luray."
