"The stay was average, it was £141.00 on a Monday night for a very small room without breakfast. The person who checked me in was nice, they gave me complimentary cookie which is a nice touch. I asked if there was a robe in the room and they spoke to the person next to her on reception and said not with the room you booked I could have got one for £10 however it was non refundable. The spa was really nice the highlight of the hotel. The hotel itself looks tatty on the outside, it’s ok on the inside nothing as spectacular as the photos look. The rooms themselves were very average. Worn down, cracks and stains. And if someone is in the corridor it’s extremely loud. Someone was on the phone speaking loudly in the other room and could hear everything they were saying plus the person on the phone so there is no soundproofing at all. It was ok for one night stay but not worth the rate I paid. On check out the person that was stood next to the nice lady that checked me in was there. When I checked out she didn’t ask me how my stay was just asked me what my room number was and have a good day, think there could be lots of improvements made to this hotel. "Breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel. Everything fresh, hot(where required) staff attentive and polite. Car parking on site very good. Rooms were clean large and everything you could need. Tea coffee milk endless supply if needed."

"The only downside to my stay was the free WiFi which is very slow & weak. I was on an oversight stay for work but had real trouble uploading documents etc."

"Location perfect for our group get together - 30 mins stroll into Skipton. Breakfast good however staff need more training in replenishment of items Dinner OK - very expensive for what it was as were drinks. Service not great as order taken incorrectly meaning one of our group got his meal later than the rest - they didn't charge him for it. Reception staff very good & helpful"
