"BEWARE!!! This was terrible. It’s not a hotel by any means. Located in a bad neighborhood, there is no one there to greet you. We stood on a rotting porch for 15 minutes after ringing the ring doorbell only to be told someone would be there in 2 minutes. The smoke alarm dead battery screech coming from inside told me enough. "The property was double booked and they took my money and the code was never received therefore I could not check in to the property. I’m still waiting on a refund of $416.02 . The property should not be listed if people are occupying it. I was distraught when I found out this on my birthday weekend scrambling to find a place to go at almost midnight. This person should be banned from renting out this property so that it doesn’t happen again!"

"Great breakfast! Gift shop inside hotel had lots of souvenirs and gifts for the whole family. We chose the hotel because of its close proximity to Times Square and the subway. Second trip to Marriott Marquis and it was great, as usual."

"The staff were all really friendly and accomidating. Our original room had broken A/C and they immediately moved us to another room. the following day when I had believed I had left something in the previous room, by their suggestion they took me up to the room to check and look for it. The staff gave Zero hassel or judgement. The property itself I would say the rooms are small concrete squares and can be very dark with the shades closed, easy to loose a sense of time, this is a pro or con depending on what you like; and elevators can be really, really slow to arrive during higher traffic hours. The bathrooms were clean, the bed was firm yet soft, good for the back and the TV was nice! We did not do the breakfast package."

"Arlo Hotel Pros- beautiful views from the rooftop terrace on the top floor Hotel on a quieter side street Lobby cafe conveniently open from 6:30 to 11 for drinks and water with friendly service Window seat for deep thoughts in the room Beautifully designed hotel and furnishings Shampoo, conditioner, body wash from Pharmacopia Room darkening shades and bed reading lights very nice Needs improvement - hallway carpets should be deep cleaned We had fitted sheets with a few holes in them Pillows are lumpy and should be updated The additional resort charge includes the gym and Citibike access but some signs in the room about how to take advantage would have been helpful. In summary, We would stay here again!"
