Lazy Days beach cottage is a comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bath home that is just 120 steps from the Gulf of Mexico. The home is well-stocked and ideally located between the public beach and Stump Pass State Park on the beach side of Gulf Blvd. Stumpy’s “free golf cart ride” stops at the home for island transportation.

"Tarpon Capital of the World". This area is the state's second largest marine estuary, species making it one of the best places to fish in Florida.

Discover the wonders of Stump Pass Park, where you can explore 265 acres of sandy trails, boating, and pristine beaches. Encounter diverse wildlife including herons, pelicans, and dolphins. Don't miss the sea turtle nests coming alive with hatchlings from May 1 to October 31.

Fossilized shark's teeth are a favorite find for beachcombers, and you'll find many among the shells. Snorkel in the clear water for sand dollars and tropical treasures. Set up your umbrella and enjoy peaceful sunsets undisturbed, away from the public beach.

Wonderful stay!

Debbie was fantastic to talk with. She kept us up to date on everything and check in was so easy. The house was perfect for our family of four, we loved all of the provided beach equipment. The house was clean and recently updated. The location was perfect and only a few stops away from the beach. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Perfect dog friendly get away!

This place is nicely done! Everything you need is there….just bring a swimsuit! There is plenty of sidewalk to walk the dogs and see the island. I would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Convenient to restaurants and beach. A little awkward for two couples with the second bath near the living area and second bedroom at the back of the house. We will stay again!

We would stay here again! It is important to note that there is a short walk down the road to the beach. We are used to staying at beachfront properties, and it was no trouble at all to walk to the beach and enjoy our coffee. We were very worried about all the private property signs on the beach based on reviews we read. We had no trouble at all finding a spot on the beach. We were impressed by the cleanliness here and we had a great time! It’s a perfect place to stay for a small family!

Consistently Comfortable

This was our second time at the property and it was a great stay. The renovations/updates were nice and made for comfortable accommodations. Between the rain and tree debris we couldn’t spend as much time outside using the house’s amenities as we had hoped, but we took advantage of the beach as much as possible. We are grateful for this consistently comfortable home away from home in Manasota Key. Thank you!!

Great Vacation

My wife, adult daughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was just as advertized. It was clean with many conveniences. The beds and couch are comfortable. The washer and dryer are quite nice. Most importantly for the summer Florida heat, the ari conditioner kept things cool inside. The beach is clean, uncrowded, and close. There is an outdoor shower for washing off after the beach, and the back door leads to a bathroom for thorough showering. Lazy Dayz is highly recommended.

We had such a great time! It was the absolute best location for us. We have small kids and a dog so it was nice that the beach was a very short, safe walk without any traffic to worry about. If you went right you were a short walk away to the state park, which was great because parking at the state park was very limited. We had a great time walking the dog through the trails and seeing well-preserved old Florida. IF you went left you were a short walk from the main beach area with lots of restaurants to choose from and a park. On Sunday night we walked down to the main beach in time to see the sunset drum circle that was also very family friendly. If you don't like to walk there is a stop for the trolley right outside. When we called to use it once it took the driver less than 5 minutes to pick us up. The beach house was very clean and nice. The A/C system was amazing and I don't know what magic they weaved to keep all the bugs away. Even when we were sitting outside I didn't feel one mosquito. An additional bonus is surrounding the back patio there are lots of beautiful trees and plants instead of just another condo building you may find at other beaches. The beds were very comfortable and linens and towels were nice as well. They had plenty of beach toys for the kids including boogie board, skim board, and kayaks. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

it was a little house right near the beach...nice quiet neighborhood....not many people around except contractors still working to repair homes from the hurricane...had everything you would need down to the towels....enjoyed our stay at lazydays

Perfect Staycation!

We wanted a local getaway and this home has an excellent location, was clean, and the owners were lovely. Highly recommend to any Floridians wanting to "escape" to the beach for a few days!

We thoroughly enjoyed the pet-friendly environment, and our puppies Carly and Emma, had a wonderful time. The rooms, kitchen, and the entire space were charmingly decorated. Due to the impact of Hurricane Helena and Milton, the area had suffered significant damage, and many homes were still undergoing repairs. The hosts were delightful, and communication was prompt and efficient. We certainly plan to return.
