"I loved that this was a smaller resort that focused on quality. The food was excellent and the menu changed daily. The pools were relaxing and the location between two beautiful beaches was perfect."
"Beautiful location , if you like walking and being on different beaches everyday . Pool area was beautiful 😍 But most of all I want to thank people who work there, they made all the difference, always nice, happy, attentive and helpful ❤️ David, Nissy, Diqwah, Amit, Samuel

The Verandah Antigua - All Inclusive - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"With two private beaches on-site and the magnificent Long Bay Beach just a short walk away, relaxation is easily found. We loved everything about our stay, especially since it’s perfect for those seeking a quieter vacation."
"The property I could see maintenance being required in most areas. People: some were very friendly as to be expected but most and I would say approximately 75 percent had a flat affect. Maybe it's an Antigua thing I'm not sure.
The beach in and of itself was amazing. However being approached by the locals while on the beach they were trying to do business there to hustle a dollor. Most of these people were fine. However Comments made to me by one of the locals were terrible and these comments were directed towards me about my granddaughter. Another family while I was there had similar comments and approaches made. Terrible. I had to get security involved however security told me the beach is public property. That was not good
I would never go back."
"No complaints. Beautiful staff. Folks from around the world very friendly. All inclusive worth it. Drinks and food excellent. Make sure to tip everyone. They all did a great job. Housekeeping daily."
"I am delighted by the bad time we had since they stole my snorkeling mask and when I said it they did not look in the cameras of the property and when I arrived at the airport to return to Miami they write to me and tell me that they had found it and that it had a cost of more than 100 dollars to send it to me by FedEx when they are responsible for the security of said resort"
"A great inn set within a historical location. Great amenities, restaurants and pool with boat service to all these and the nearby Galleon Beach. Loft room was spectacular with an amazing view of the harbor. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We can not wait to come back."
"Great little gem tucked away in the hill, simple, clean and straight forward. A nice change from the larger hotels with a personal feel.An ideal base to explore surrounding area. Friendly staff. Will be back."
"It took a while to decide on where to stay on my first visit to Antigua, but I am so glad my search landed me at Copper & Lumber. The hotel is truly one of the most unique stays I’ve had. The grounds are beautiful, the room (studio) was super spacious, and had everything we needed. The AC worked, though it didn’t extend into the bathroom, which admittedly is small and not for anyone claustrophobic. Otherwise, I felt like I was in a movie staying there, such nice details and everything is picture-worthy. The staff were amazing! They gave us lots of recommendations of places to visit and eat at. Within an hour of arrival, I had mangoes delivered to the room, followed by a whole bag the next morning. That was the best! They were always up for conversation, which I appreciated. The location of the hotel is ideal also, there are lots of restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Shirley’s heights is about a 15-min taxi ride away and is a must-do experience for the weekly parties/bbq. Pigeon’s beach is about a 20-minute walk away. The minibus also runs on the Main Street to take you into St. John’s. Would definitely stay at this hotel again! Still daydreaming about it…."
