I really enjoyed some parts of my stay, especially the restaurant service — the staff were super friendly, helpful, and made meals a nice experience. The food was good too. Guest services were mostly kind and tried to help whenever I reached out. That said, the room experience wasn’t great. Cleaning was inconsistent — one day it didn’t happen at all, and I had to go twice to guest services just to get it done. Towels were often late or not changed, and the room key was a daily problem, constantly stopping working even though I kept it away from my phone. The bathroom had mold and looked worn out, the AC barely cooled at night, and the minibar was empty from day one and never refilled. The hotel really needs better supervision and quicker responses when guests report issues. The people in the restaurant show what great service looks like — it’d be amazing to see that same level of care across the rest of the hotel.

My stay at Bahia Principe Grand La Romana was very relaxing and enjoyable. Overall the entertainment was great as well as dining and excursion options. I would highly recommend this resort to others!

El lugar es hermoso y el personal es muy atento y amable, pero si hay cosas que mejorar: Baños: el agua en la ducha cuando se colocaba fría salía bien, pero cuando se colocaba caliente salía sucia y que habían algunos cabellos dentro del baño. Comida: podría ser un poco más variada. Organización: no sabíamos a qué lugar eran que estaban los buffet, porque donde se suponía que iba a estar no estaban y lo movían para donde eran restaurantes a la carta.

Hermoso hotel, histórico. Cerca de todo. Buenas atenciones. Mis hijos y yo pasamos Una estadía maravillosa. Nos fue fácil caminar toda la zona colonial a pie y salir en el vehículo a otras áreas.

All amenities were removed from resort and beach area became public with locals using parasols. No bars at beach area and no animations. Would only go back if resort becomes all inclusive.
