"Our stay at the Hotel Nilya could not have been better! The hotel is comfortable and beautiful decorated and our rooms were lovely. Nazmi was an amazing host, providing us with excellent recommendations on local sites, restaurants and the best time to visit Ephesus. He also drove us several places and gave us a fine example of Turkish hospitality by showing us his farm. I recommend visiting their gallery which is a short walk from the hotel, to see the beautiful ceramic tiles and rugs. Nazmi taught us a lot about the history and styles of Turkish rugs: an important part of any visit to Turkey. Thank you Nazmi and Erdal! "

"The room was big. We had a Turkish bath in it. The bathroom was big. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and varied with plenty of food. Parking was right outside the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel , especially if you are going to Ephesus. It’s like 7 minutes away. Restaurants are a 5 minute drive away. Hasan who works there, I believe a manager, was very helpful. We were leaving for Ephesus before breakfast and he made sure breakfast was available before we left. Hotel was really special. "

"Overall a great stay! Host was very kind and helpful, and breakfast was great. The location was also great - walking distance to the bus terminal and train station, and even to Ephesus (~35 mins). The neighbourhood was also very quiet, which was nice. The room was a bit humid upon arrival but the AC worked fine! "

"The hotel is designed and run by the owners , a most beautiful welcoming stay. It feels like a home with coffee tea and cakes available throughout the day, sitting by the poolside enjoying a cup of tea was delightful. The room is tastefully furnished with all amenities to meet daily needs. Breakfast has a good spread of fresh olives , tomatoes , greens , cold cuts , breads and pastries and eggs cooked to order. Location is very good , near the museum and restaurants . Will stay again in Akanthus hotel if I return to Ephesus . "
