"Very nice hotel just East of the Plaka. Pool/Bar and Restaurant were both rooftop with nice views of the Acropolis. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Included breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Expensive at @ $450 per night."

"This hotel is in the best location, near great restaurants & shops, at the base of the Acropolis! From our room & the rooftop restaurant/bar we enjoyed awesome views! I particularly loved sunset because the whole city has a romantic glow as some of the city lights start turning on and the sky’s colors are magical! And after the setting sun’s light is gone as dusk, the parthenon has a beautiful uplighting glow that is incredible! The staff was wonderful and the property was perfect! We highly recommend it!!"

"The room and bath were very spacious and updated, with a terrific shower and king size bed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We we concerned at first because the lobby off of a side alley was a general lobby for the building, not the Nur Edge. The elevator was old and not the cleanest. However, once we arrived at the Nur Edge property, it was a different story. It was obvious that there was an update in progress, and the places that we saw were very clean, well maintained, and Had high end finishes. As advertised, our room had a great view of the Acropolis, although it was over the top of some buildings. The folks in charge seemed to really care about our comfort and stay in Athens. Would highly recommend!"

"The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Staff were great. The room was very small with no fridge, would suggest they add one. Roof top restaurant staff (1person) should have had help. Another guest was very rude to her which made us very comfortable. She did not deserve this treatment. If she had had help, maybe this could have been avoided. All in all great hotel and would recommend it."
