"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Papagayo Golden Palms and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica. The property was extremely clean and very well maintained, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Everyone was fantastic — from housekeeping to the restaurant staff and chef — and you could truly feel how much they cared about the guests’ experience. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. The grounds are beautiful, lush, and tropical, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. The pool area is amazing, and the beach is just steps away and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. One thing that really helped us was renting a car. It made exploring the surrounding areas, beaches, restaurants, and local attractions much easier and allowed us to see more of this beautiful part of Costa Rica. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to everyone at Papagayo Golden Palms for such a memorable vacation!"

"Beautiful resort- Not enough umbrellas at pool. Food options were ok would have liked to see more. Cups for drinks were pour quality- definitely bring your own."

"If your all about a modern space this is not for u ..Its old Costa Rico design. Its not a spacious as made to be .The porch is where all the space is along with the private pool .its more for a mom and children not 3 couples..Its cute not much comfort .its not bad but i prefer more modern."

"The resort was over all nice only issue we had was the day we needed to leave to the airport to depart the transportation to bring us down took an hour to come get us and almost made us late for our flight. The resort is up a hill and no walking is permitted for safety. So you are forced to wait. We called the office several times to get picked up and the phone would just ring and then they would answer and tell us to wait outside so we waited outside of our room for one hour before being picked up. Also, the room stated with the stay you only get two complementary bottles of water and one coffee you have to pay for the rest but other than that, it was a pretty decent day and the resort itself was very nice and close to the beach just keep in mind that you have to wait to go around the resort."

"The Villa was clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool and patio was spectacular especially for watching sunsets. Beautiful views of the ocean. Since the villa is so high up the road is very steep and narrow. Parking was challenging with the size of our car - Hyundai Santa Fe. If you’re not a confident and good driver, you may want to leave your car at the bottom and use the shuttle. It was a great location and the owner, and Dani and Sebastian were excellent communicators and very responsive. They had beers, chips and salsa waiting for us which was a nice touch. "

"Overall, I had a really good time. The food was actually very good compared to some of the reviews that I saw that mentioned it was mediocre. The transportation staff were top-tier and their driving abilities are unmatched. The only thing is that I did call and asked for the in room snacks to be stocked, but that was never done during my time."
