Ideal

Ideal little cottage for 3 adults, easy to explore the surrounding areas and a shop nearby for provisions. Electric charging was a must for us and this was also available- could be tricky if all cottages needed it but luckily us and a neighbour shared the time.

Very lovely cottage

Woodcut cottage was a lovely place to stay with family for the weekend. The cottage was very clean and very well presented. It had everything we needed for our stay including a well stocked kitchen which enabled us to cater for ourselves. The welcome drinks and snacks (coffee / tea & biscuits and milk) were a lovely touch. The cottage was warm and cosy, inc comfy sofas and comfortable beds / bedding. I would have enjoyed the shower more if the pressure was stronger and more powerful. I would defiantly recommend staying at Bridge Farm.

Lovely cottage

We stayed here as we had a wedding nearby and shared this cottage with 2 other adults (4 of us altogether). We knew each other well so didn’t mind the two single beds on the landing; we were only there to sleep anyway as we’d be out in the day. The cottage is clean, well kept and very cute. Kitchen had everything you needed and the tea and coffee was a lovely addition. The shower however was very weak and had such low water pressure that even the boys struggled to wash their hair. My friend washed hers and it took over half an hour as there just wasn’t enough water flowing to rinse the shampoo out! Luckily I had washed mine the night before otherwise we’d been in a right pickle on the morning of the wedding as bridemaids trying to get ready in time. Absolutely beautiful cottages just wish the shower was stronger.

Lovely Cottages

A large group of us stayed at Bridge Farm Holiday Cottages while attending a family wedding nearby just before Christmas 2023. All five of the cottages (Woodcut, Stable, East Barn, West Barn and Courtyard) we stayed in were fantastic. The décor is lovely, and each cottage is fully equipped with everything we needed. All were warm, cosy and very clean with comfy beds and big fluffy towels provided. But it was the thoughtful extra little touches that made our stay really special; each cottage had a fully decorated Christmas tree inside with an extra larger tree in the communal space between East and West Cottages which made everything very festive. The communal space is also brilliant if you are in a larger group as you can gather together and eat meals or play games – of which there are many provided. Each fridge had a fresh pint of milk inside with tea, coffee and biscuits provided for a welcome cuppa after a long journey. There is a local Co-op a short walk away which is very handy for getting supplies and there are two local pubs and a great fish and chip shop only minutes away. Communication with the owner Fiona was always very friendly and helpful and any queries we had were responded to promptly. We would highly recommend these beautiful cottages to anyone wanting to holiday in this lovely part of the world.

Cute cottage

Cute cottage in a lovely countryside location, sheep right outside your window. . Comfortable and clean with all the amenities you would need for a short stay. The only downside was there is no hanging space for clothes, just a hook on the wall in the bedroom. The drawers provided are great for casual clothes but we were going to a wedding so needed to hang suits and dresses. Tea, coffee and milk were provided. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Really rather beautiful

Fiona has been so very accommodating, our initial booking we cancelled last minute due to COVID & managed to finally stay nearly a year later. It is compact however It was a beautiful cottage. I couldn’t get over how lovely all the little extras were. The faucet print on the kitchen roll ! The shampoo/shower gel in a basket by the sink. The beautiful crisp white bed linen & towels that are thick & fluffy. The eggs ! They were delicious & the tea/coffee/milk was extremely welcoming after a very long drive. Everything about our stay was perfect, the beds were Very comfortable, we all had somewhere to sit comfortably in the evening & the sheep grazing outside were lovely to see. We shall certainly be back. It was all so well thought out & that makes all the difference.

A Family History Trip

Woodcut Cottage did not disappoint! My parents loved the stay since they are used to being in a built up area- having open space and quiet countryside appealed to them, as did the fresh eggs and local honey! We treated them to a short stay- the gallery bedroom (adjacent to the main) worked well enough for the four of us staying as two couples. It was good to be able to use a shared outdoor space- all the other guests were non-obtrusive yet social, and each of the local areas and pubs that we visited had unique village charm (we stayed away from the more tourist areas since we wanted to visit areas linked to our family history). The entire stay was such a pleasure. I would suggest this break as one for those loving the countryside or wanting a break 'to get away from it all', and for quiet families, where some driving may be required. We would have enjoyed this stay as a short break when our children were younger. It suited us down to the ground!

Lovely stay

Nice accommodation, everything we needed was provided, the owner is easy to contact should you need anything else. Very good location, it’s very quiet and peaceful, but really easy to access the Cotswold villages and other attractions. There is a Co op about a 1-2 minute drive away for essentials. Overall we had a lovely stay and would return.
