"The house was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view on a beautiful property. The pool looked great but the weather was a little too cool most of the time we were there. We enjoyed picking peas, strawberries, cherries, lemons, oranges and eggs. The hosts met us when we arrived and were very helpful with a house tour and recommendations for restaurants and other attractions in the area. They also left us with a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta da Portinha. "

"Check in was great, with a welcome glass of Port. Breakfast was perfect every morning with plenty of options and very scenic views. Room was little dated and the area itself is secluded. If you’re looking for that, than this is the spot. The highlight of the trip in Douro was the wine tour about an hour away. Beautiful area beautiful resort. "
