"We enjoyed our stay at The 70’s Place. There are a few easy things that could be done to improve the stay. (Shampoo and conditioner, coffee and creamer for the first morning, a little more attention to dirt under chairs etc, and a working VCR)"

The family friendly lake amenities and golf courses across the street were icing on the cake. We can’t say enough great things about this property!"

"Awesome! I stayed here with my family of four and my parents in July of 2026 and it was awesome. The updates Rob and Nicole have made to the unit are wonderful. We stayed in this unit several years ago and it was fun back then but now it’s even better. This is THE prime Deer Lake Villa to be in as it’s closest to the beach, the Tiki Bar, the restaurant, golf, and more. You don’t even really need to leave. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing and the unit is well stocked with anything you may need. We have stayed at Disciples Ridge Condos, private homes, and the Lodge but The Deer Lake Villas are our favorite because everything is so easy and convenient. During the day it can get busy at the beach but we have kids and we love all the activities. You are literally about 20Ft from the waters edge and its low stress because the water is shallow and it’s a sandy bottom. Kids and adults alike love it. Super safe. I have only been to this unit (and to Boyne Mtn) in the summer so I can’t comment on anything winter-related but for summer this unit is spectacular. Thanks so much! Had a blast!"
