"Top marks for location! We could walk everywhere in any direction. Our room wasn’t ready till 4.25pm and when we finally got to the room the shower wasn’t working! Makes me wonder, how the bathroom got cleaned without any water? Anyhow we were moved to another room which was fine except you can actually look into the bathroom from the bedroom through a glass wall which had a screen. Not quite sure why anyone would want to see the companion sitting on the throne? Staff were extremely helpful and it really wasn’t their fault. All in all , the hotel was convenient and it was unfortunate about the shower."

"Literally a three minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to the harbour and start of Old Town Faro. Area immediately surrounding the hotel is not the prettiest but I was lone female and felt safe even at night. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful when I had a booking issue which they helped sort out. My room was a decent size for just me - would be fine for two people if not too much luggage but bigger rooms available. Rooms were spotless and modern with good powerful shower, I didn't have breakfast but passed people who did and it looked nice. Small basic hotel but exactly as advertised and perfect if your looking for a base to explore and sleep - quiet location. A/C and wifi worked well. Cleaners in room every day. 10 minute Uber to Airport. Ideal base for exploring Faro and surrounding area. Would happily stay here again."

"First time I'd stayed here for ten years. Always used it as a after arriving at Faro Airport, or as the last stop before flying home. The last few times, I had to stop elsewhere, as there were no vacancies. Very impressed with the modernization that has taken place and feel that the 2* rating should have been increased to 3. However, on many previous visits, breakfast was automatically included in the room rate. Now, an additional charge is made. A fridge in the room would be advantageous."
