"Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was clean and they had made a sofa bed up for my son. Plenty of tea,coffee and biscuits and the towels were lovely large ones instead of the usual face cloth you get to dry yourself with in many hotels. We liked the Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom and the soap etc was filled. The room and bathroom were very cold due to the old sash windows which were quite draughty. However you were able to control the heating easily and so were able to warm the room quite quickly. We did not sample the restaurant or spa services as this was only a one night stay."

"This hotel needs some serious TLC, room was just tired with water leak stain on the celling. Chairs in the room and breakfast hall were rocking quite wildly. Breakfast was good - recommended. Parking was convenient. This hotel needs renovation."
