"Excellent choice for our family of 5 adults and two kids. The house is a newer addition to a century old farmhouse. Very functional, clean and comfortable. The host Dolors is an adorable person and made us feel right at home, even gave us a basket with fresh eggs from her chickens. The house is located at short drive from Figueres and Besalu. Highly recommended."

"Was a lovely country stay after 2 weeks of city stays. It was just the break we needed. Place has everything you need and the pool was great. Dispite being on the property with others it was very private. We were especially happy to spend time patting the two calm dogs who spend their days laying in the yard. Its a short drive to some great sites in Besalu, and Figures as well as Girona. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful house and great common and private outside areas. I was on the fence after reading about the smell but after staying there it's clear that, while we did a couple of times smell the neighboring farm for a little bit, it's all part of the country experience. Great location, short walk to Llado's center and short drive to Besalu. I would gladly go back again and again."

Then the 'hot tub' was in fact freezing cold, and all the staff could say was "That's how it's always been, it's never been...
