Accommodation was lovely, everything you needed and super convenient. Cleaning staff were very friendly and welcoming. We checked in at the pub and the staff were friendly and very helpful - food was pub food and pretty good. The beach was nearby and stunning - the path down is steep but worth it.

Beautiful bonus

What a beautiful village feel right next to the sea. The facilities were an added bonus, especially the pool and the Beauty Room. Staff were all friendly and helpful.fact Plenty of recycling points for waste.

We know it was a comfort house but there was no plug for the bath ,the tv didnt have a good reception until sunday pm wifi was infrequent,and for the price paid we would have expected towels supplied ,was very basic compared to previous four stays at the bay ,was however very clean

The Bay Filey

Stayed in superior beach house at the Bay Filey. Lovely quiet resort a two minute walk down to the beach. Onsite pub and chemist and shop etc. The superior beach house was basically a large lodge style dwelling and we paid an extra £45 to take the dog with us. We had all the mod cons - tvs in all rooms, two on suite bedrooms, can fault the accommodation. Would have liked to stay longer and we will be back.

A great kitchen and lounge area troubled only by noise of passing traffic, but this died down at night, and, if the dishwasher was run, the drawbacks of open plan living were clear so I ran it at night and wasn't troubled. A nice quiet bedroom ensured a good sleep and I could figure out how to use the TV in this room! I will be happy to revisit this site as it was convenient to walk into Filey from and it would have been possible to walk to Bempton Cliffs too.

We liked the property it was very clean and smelled nice upon entry. It was in a great location. The only thing of concern was the shower in master bedroom flooded floor of bathroom, there was clear evidence of that constantly happening, the shower is on the wrong wall it just needs moving.

Excellent location near the beach. Good condition of new holiday houses. But a bit outdated shared facilities, such as changing room at the swimming pool.

Comfy room, great accommodation

Really lovely flat. Bed was comfy, area was nice. Shame the nearby shops are overpriced but that's to be expected. Loved the gym and pool, staff were friendly. Don't forget to bring your own towels!

Lovely well set out holiday accommodation. Like a modern housing estate. Nice 2 bed comfort clean cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Only negative bath didn't drain and had shower above and no towels or hairdryer provided by host. Had to go buy towels in Filey. This to us is basic essentials.

Enjoyed our stay .3 seater settee would of been better and more comfortable than a small 2 seater.also doulble bed was a bit tight as were both 6ft weather was terrible. But we were nice and warm .and would book again.

Snowy Stay - November

We love The Bay ! We've been visiting for a number of years and each time we have an very enjoyable stay. Great that there's a small grocery shop now !! Only downside is the John Paul Jones. Lovely staff & service but the place is freezing & the food & drinks really overpriced !! Will visit again but won't be eating on site.

Poor signage makes it difficult to find correct property. Kitchenware dirty and had to wash it before we could eat or drink. dishwasher and fridge broken, bathroom floor dirty and toilet full of limescale. rooms starting to look shabby. bed and settee comfortable grounds tidy and handy for beach.
