"We had the 2 bedroom suite. Room was big and clean. Los of space. Hotel is by nothing! You are almost stranded. However, the bar lounge was very nice and the food was good at the restaurant. Breakfast was very good in the morning. It’s about a 15-20 taxi to Barcelona. Staff was good. Only spent 1 night."

"Very nice hotel situated just outside of Barcelona centre. All areas of Barcelona are accessible from this hotel. The bus stop for the Hop On Hop Off bus is a 5 minute walk away. We especially loved the roof top pool area where you could chill and soak up the sun after a busy day of sight seeing . Fabulous vibe for sunset drinks and view of the city. For us the guest relations managers were exceptional and dealt with all queries efficiently and with a personal touch. The breakfast was outstanding . Situated on the 23rd gave you beautiful views whilst having breakfast . The staff were very attentive and welcoming . There is major construction going on outside the front of the hotel so a room on the opposite side of the building would be advantageous. Fabulous stay all in all"

"Wonderful place to stay . Staff were really friendly and it was very clean . Large hotel but felt very personable. Breakfast was superb so much choice great quality and all you could eat . Small touches like complimentary water every day, all toiletries supplied made a difference . Super room with balcony great view. Location perfect just on the outskirts 5 minute walk from main rail station and metro. Definitely recommend and will visit again ."

"This is Barcelona, so prices are super high. This said, SmartRooms is nicely located in a barrio that is still inhabited by locals and very well connected to the main attractions with public transport or by walking. My room was super clean and kept like that during my stay. All the common areas were also very clean. Staff was helpful and kind."

"House keeping was not good at all. Room was supposed to be supplied with shampoo, body wash, conditioner. We entered the room with only empty bottles of each. We had to call numerous times to get these supplies refilled/replaced. The room itself was covered in dust bunnies and had orange stains everywhere."

"Excellent location for travelling to Barcelona center as it was right next to metro station. My daughter enjoyed the roof top bar while the indoor jacuzzi was relaxing place after spending all day exploring Barcelona. The room was good size for 3 of us. The weird thing was their odd window and lack of privacy in shower."
